These lights are absoulutely awesome. I have 7000 lights surrounding my house and these are the coolest set I have. The price at Amazon is more expensive trhan COSTCO however. You can get these at COSTCO for $64.99 after taxes in Colorado. Oh, you cannot connect multiple sets as well. You need to have a separate outlet for each set.

purchased 2 sets of 50 light Color Effects� G-35 String sets and after working fine for 1 week now one set doesnt work properly (the first 3 lights do but not the rest of the string). I cant even use the remote to turn them off; i have to unplug them. I called GE customer service and spoke to a CSR and while she was very polite could not solve my problem but to say send in the string for repair. I don't think it's too much to ask when i pay 150.00 for lights to work thru at least one christmas season. These lights are not stable dont waste your money.

The prices for these lights online are ghastly... I just purchased the last set at my local Costco for a whopping $66 after tax.
As for the lights themselves, they are simply amazing. The bulbs are HUGE, even larger than the old C9s we used to put up when I was a kid but the color changing effects are wondrous. All transitions are incredibly smooth (no flicker) and there are 14 different patterns.
